Consumption rate of Porcelain Flex Tile Adhesive

Depending on the type of surface under work and its smoothness, the consumption rate per square meter varies. Under standard conditions, about 5 to 7 kg of Sahand Shimi Porcelain Flex Tile Adhesive is sufficient to cover one square meter.

Preparation of the surface under work

Before using the tile adhesive, the surface under work must be completely clean, free of grease, loose particles and dust.

Usage method

Each 20 kg bag of Sahand Shimi Flex Porcelain Tile Adhesive is mixed with about 5 to 6 liters of water using an electric mixer with a slow speed.

The container in which the mixing takes place should be appropriate for the amount of work and the speed of the mixer.

When mixing, slowly add the powder to the water and continue mixing until a uniform and homogeneous mortar is obtained.

Give the mortar a rest for 5 minutes and after a little re-mixing, the mortar is ready to use.

Using a notched trowel and creating parallel grooves, apply the adhesive to the desired surface and install the tile within a maximum of 20 minutes.

Important points about Sahand Shimi Flex Porcelain Tile Adhesive

After mixing the resin and powder adhesive, the maximum time for using the mortar is 1 hour.

When installing the tile, the temperature of the surface under the work should be between +5 and +40 degrees Celsius.
After at least 24 hours, the tiled surface is ready for grouting.
To install slab tiles, use one 5-liter gallon of Sahand Shimi Flex Latex Resin for every 3 packets of porcelain tile adhesive.
