Latex Biza Plus

By adding Sahand Shimi Biza Plus Latex instead of part of the water in the cement-sand mortar, its physical and mechanical properties are significantly increased. This reinforced mortar has high strength against impact and mechanical stresses and is much more durable against environmental conditions. In addition, adding this supplement to the mortar leads to a significant reduction in water permeability into the mortar.

Does Biza Plus Latex create a sealing property in the mortar?

Biza Plus Latex can be mixed with all cement-based compounds and, depending on different conditions, will reduce their permeability to an acceptable level.

For example, by combining this resin and Sahand Shimi jointing powders, the joints between tiles and ceramics can be sealed to a large extent.

However, as a standard, using this product as a 100% sealant is not a principle, and the only Sahand Shimi product for this purpose is a two-component sealant that can be used as an independent product.

Applications of Biza Plus Latex Sahand Shimi

This resin is added to cement-based mixtures in various proportions instead of part of the water and adds several properties to it, including:

Increasing the strength and adhesion resistance of various types of cement-based powder tile adhesives
Increasing flexibility and reducing the possibility of mortar cracking
Sealing joints in combination with jointing powder
Preparing repair mortar to seal cracks
Calculating the required amount

The volume of Biza Plus Latex consumption depends greatly on its expected use and performance. Typically, the amount of consumption of this product is 15 to 20 percent of the cement weight of the mortar mixing plan (this amount is calculated as 35% of the powder weight for combination with jointing powder). The higher the amount of latex resin consumed in the mentioned range, the more effective the performance and the better quality the mortar will be.

How to prepare Biza Plus latex

Pour the required amount of Biza Plus Sahand Shimi latex into a container with a suitable capacity, and then add the powder portion slowly while mixing with an electric mixer. Mixing continues until a uniform and homogeneous mortar is achieved.

Application temperature and workability time

The best application temperature for Biza Plus Sahand Shimi latex is between 5 and 40 degrees Celsius.

Setting time

Adding Biza Plus latex to the desired mixture does not affect its setting time.

Expiration date and storage conditions

Biza Plus Sahand Shimi latex can be used for up to one year if stored in its packaging and away from direct sunlight and freezing.
