Waterproofing Mesh

Waterproofing mesh is a woven polypropylene fiber designed to strengthen and prevent surface cracking in waterproofing mortar. This product, with its high resistance to alkaline conditions, increases flexibility, tensile strength, and reinforces Sahand Chemical two-component waterproofing materials.

Note 1: The use of this type of mesh is mandatory in corners and around pipes and inlet and outlet connections in waterproofing.

Note 2: In waterproofing swimming pools, saunas, and jacuzzis using a two-component waterproofing product, it is recommended to use waterproofing mesh throughout the entire work surface to reinforce the waterproofing and prevent cracking.

Note 3: When using mesh in mortar and other cement-based materials, the high alkalinity of these materials (with a pH of about 12 to 13) can gradually degrade the mesh and ultimately reduce the strength and durability of the mortar or waterproofing materials. Therefore, it is essential to use alkali-resistant mesh to prevent loss of strength and reduce the lifespan of the structure.
