Application of K700 Tile Adhesive:
- Installation of various porcelain tiles, various glass ceramic tiles, natural and artificial stones, tiles with low water absorption on horizontal and vertical surfaces, and dry and wet environments.
K700 Tile Adhesive Consumption Rate:
- Depending on the type of substrate and its smoothness, the consumption rate per square meter varies. Under standard conditions, approximately 5 to 7 kg of K700 tile adhesive is sufficient to cover one square meter.
Substrate Preparation:
- Before using the tile adhesive, the surface must be completely clean and dry, free from grease, loose particles, and dust.
K700 Tile Adhesive Application Method:
- Each 20 kg bag of K700 tile adhesive is mixed with approximately 5 to 6 liters of water using an electric mixer. The mixing container should be proportional to the volume of adhesive and the mixer speed. Gradually add the powder to the water during mixing and continue mixing until a uniform and homogeneous mortar is obtained. Allow the mortar to rest for 5 minutes, and after a little remixing, the mortar is ready for use. Apply the adhesive to the desired surface using a notched trowel, creating parallel grooves, and install the tiles within a maximum of 20 minutes.
Notes:
- After mixing water and powder adhesive, the maximum usable time of the mortar is 1 hour.
- During tile installation, the ambient temperature should be between +5 and +40 degrees Celsius.
- The tiled surface is ready for grouting after a minimum of 24 hours.
